New natural turf surface, improved lighting await CPL team for its home opener
ATCO Field undergoes $1.2M in improvements

Cavalry FC will be playing its Canadian Premier League home opener tonight on a new and improved field, complete with upgraded lighting. The existing playing surface was torn up from ATCO Field in Spruce Meadows, Alta. in May, to give way to a new natural grass field. The field improvements and lighting cost $1.2 million.
